Volunteering at St. Bartholomew

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

All volunteers in our Archdiocese are required to be VIRTUS Certified, which entails safety training, a Code of Conduct and a background check every 3 years. All three can be completed on the VIRTUS website. Create an account at https://www.virtusonline.org/

CLICK HERE for instructions to set up account.

Please complete these requirements prior to the start of the school year so you can say "YES" to the many ways of volunteering at our school. Background checks can take 2 to 3 weeks. You cannot volunteer until background checks are returned.

PARENT-TEACHER ORGANIZATION– PTO

St. Bart's PTO is very important to our school! They provide essential fundraising, volunteer

support and FUN for our entire community. Many hands make light work - there are many ways to get involved throughout the school year.

We highly encourage you to learn more about our PTO! Contact PTO Chair Michelle Sanchez for more information - michelle18612@gmail.com

SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL - SAC

The School Advisory Board provides leadership and service in all matters pertaining to St.

Bartholomew Catholic School. Its purpose is to minister to, and develop the educational faith

community of students, staff, and families centered on the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church. We are a policy-making and support committee working with this end in mind. Board members are selected through a discernment process or by appointment. Members serve three-year terms and act as representatives of the school community and as liaisons to various sub-committees that directly interact with St. Bartholomew Catholic School. The School Advisory Board meets monthly, August through June.

If you are interested in more information about SAC, please contact Principal Vance.
