Core Curriculum
Religion

The Word of Life Student Text makes learning the faith effective, engaging, and fun with Bible stories, contemporary children’s stories, lives of the saints, and activities for a variety of learning styles.

Along with the curriculum, students participate in daily prayer, weekly mass, and monthly service projects.

C-STEAM

C-STEAM focuses on science, technology, engineering, art, and math through a Catholic lens. As students engage in problem-based learning, they discover what the Catholic connections are to the specific topics. How are we being good stewards of God's creation? How can we integrate ethics and technology? Our teachers are on their way to being Nationally Certified by the National Institute of STEM Education.

Math

Our students engage in math learning on many levels through C-STEAM and participate in an advanced grade level math program. Students are taught math one grade level above, preparing them to be a contender.  Many of our students also participate in Math Boosters as an additional challenge.

Language Arts

Our partnership with the Believe and Read founders, Groves Academy, has produced an impactful reading program for our K - 3rd grade students. The AIMS Web Testing allows the teachers to meet the students where they are and provides an individualized program to help them soar! Students also have an opportunity to work in small groups or individually, based on their learning needs, to help them grow in their reading prowess.

The 4th & 5th graders change from learning to read to reading to learn! They integrate reading, writing, and grammar skills into dynamic projects and presentations. Our teachers also reinforce the importance of cursive writing as we don't believe it should be a lost art.

Social Studies

Social Studies education requires more than rote memorization - our approach is to embrace the formation of global citizens, challenging students to think beyond their own homes to the greater community, state, country, and the world. When our students focus on God first, then loving others above themselves, they will be changemakers and leaders of the future. We utilize myWorld Interactive curriculum, which uses activity-based learning to bolster important citizenship skills and ties in real-world civics applications.
